everytime it rains i end up with the atlantic ocean on the drivers side, front and rear....it's ruined the carpet, so i just took a knife and cut out a huge square, and i ripped out a complete carpet from a 2 door AT, so, like to get this fixed before i replace the carepet/padding.

not the fender/wheel well, as it fills up just sitting parked getting rained on.

anyone have problems like this? where should i look first instead of going into this blind?
if it's a common problem, should i investigate the passenger side as well?

thanks.jason

i did. i pulled the carpet out then sprayed truck bedliner down. then i replaced the carpet. it still did it for awhile. i came to the conclusion the door seals were leaking. so i would start there first.

two door,four door?

My two door had a leaky door seal & would get wet just sitting but the seat got wet too. On the two door a leak by the upper part of the door results in a wet butt upon driving... great words of wisdom or what fordaspire/icon_lol.gif

Hope ya find it!

as far as i can tell, water is going into the front catch, leaking past the wiper motor seal against the firewall, then dripping down onto the clutch cable, then sneaking it's way in somehow...wtf!?!?

i'll have to ###### with it when it's a dry...and warm day.
