It's been a busy past few months for me, and I haven't made time to keep up with you guys. I see Nerd is on his way to getting BP'd, Mick is continuing to raise the bar, and there are a few other interesting projects out there. And somehow, in my absence, I managed to win COTM! To the many new member I say welcome; to old friends I offer my humble apologies for my absence.

I've been spending much of my free time these past months either working on my many cars, cleaning up my house, or being with friends and family. Thankfully, the days are getting longer again, so I can work on my car/house stuff, spend time with family, AND catch up with you guys. I'm not going through the 14 pages of posts since my last visit, but I'll do my best to keep up to date from here on out, and let you guys know when I'll be out for extended periods.

All that said, fair warning, I'm only here for the next week, and then I won't be near a computer with (reliable) internet access until mid May. sad.gif

As to updates on my Aspire, I really don't have any. I'm not currently using it as my daily as it's blocked in by my most recent addition (1992 Plymouth Laser RS AWD that I bought in Cali in 2006, and finally brought to VA). I have too many projects, I've realized lately, and I'm working to thin out the herd (11 vehicles in my yard at the moment...), which will leave more time (and money) for working on one or two cars to make them nice, instead of fighting to keep so many just working.

Hello, everyone, back again!

It's been really hard for me to get on here for the past few months. I've been really busy at work and home, and this forum, among other things, had to take a back seat for me. Like they say, life is what happens while you're busy making other plans...

Work's work, and there's not much worth talking about there, so to catch you all up a bit on my non-work life, here's what I've gone through since the end of April:

- Got 2 more cars running, making 7 of the 10 cars that I own now usable. Yes, I pay some ridiculous insurance rates, since all the running cars have tags on them.

- For the past 2 months, plus this month, have had to pay mortgage for my house in SC AND rent for my house in VA. Old tenants in SC house moving out tomorrow, hopefully new (paying) tenants moving in December. For those out there considering renting out their houses, two words: Property Manager (especially if the house you're renting is in another state)!

- Broke up with gf of the past 5 years. sad.gif I ask myself daily if I made the right move, but, it's done now...

- Started watching anime a little more. Got about a half dozen different movies and series now.

- Finally broke down and got myself a Facebook account. I had been hounded by friends for over a year now to get one, and it's one of the few websites that the Navy will allow on their computers, so I did it. For those who have one, you can look me up: Daniel Rogers

No new stuff for the Aspire, unfortunately. I'm trying to move sometime soon, so getting the other non-working cars to be operational, and selling ones I don't want anymore, are the priority. She's still ticking along nicely, though. Got 111k on her now, and still gets over 38mpg. I do sometimes coplain about the lack of power, but I know that will come in time... smile.gif

Hope you all are doing well, and I'll try to visit more often.
