Reluctantly Selling My 96, 1996 5-Speed For Sale

After 13 years, I need to part with my Aspire. My daily commute is now 80 miles and she just can't handle it anymore. I was hoping to get about $1,000 for her, but it's more important that she gets a good home. Here are the details:

[1996 Aspire -Metallic Green 2-Door
Grey Interior
5-Speed Manual Trans
1.3L Engine
173,000 Miles

It needs a new clutch and the ignition has been sticking a bit of late. I replaced all the ball joints a year ago. Still gets about 42MPG.

I'm located in South Central PA.

how is the car rust wise?

There's a small rust spot above the passenger side rear wheel well.

It has the usual issues: discolored steering wheel, upholstery is a bit worn, the paint could use some touching-up in a few areas; but I've tried to take good care of it. I really hate to let it go, but I switched jobs a few years ago and my commute has a lot of stop and go and is a real clutch-buster. I just can't justify sinking the money into another one and I'm too mechanically challenged to do it myself.

Thats really pretty sad to hear. I'm just starting to look at different ones, but as usually happens, time and money never seem to coincide. I've always liked greens myself

It's definitely the best car I've ever had, but it's just not compatable with my commute any longer. I really don't want it to get parted out. I guess I'm hoping someone here might be industrious and knowledgeable enough to keep it on the road.

I really wish i could, but the F250 just went into the shop on me this week, so I'm sure I'll be flat busted for a while
