Festiva / Aspire Madness Meets, Numbers of Aspires attending

Hello from Dean in Raleigh, NC.

We just had our 3rd Annual Festiva/Aspire Madness meet Oct 3rd here in Raleigh, NC

51 Festivas attended and 4 Aspires.

There were 2 convoys of Festivas and Aspires.

A local car show was crashed by Festivas and one lone Aspire.

There should have been more Aspires.

One person that was coming hit a deer just two days out and was very sick that their car was not going to make the meet.

Another Aspire owner couldn't drive due to a injury.

I know of 6 other Aspires in the area that didn't attend.

Plans are to try get more Aspires out to the meet Oct 2, 2010.

Over 1,000 pictures were taken of the meet along with 4 hours of video.

T-shirts were made with the Festiva and Aspire on front.

I have three Aspires.

One that I am fixing up is a 94 two model and it will get a BP 1.8 installed.

The other two are parts cars. One of them is a 97, not sure year of other one.

I would love to show up to festiva meets with my car once its finished so I can make some of the egg haters drool

I used to be one till I owned one. the festiva has its own charm for sure, but I found my home here.

I am glad that more and more members on both sites are making dual events though to get the two communities together.

Hopefully we will get more interest in meets in the future. I have been to a couple of the FF in Michigan and had a great time.

I was a hater before I got one myself also, but consider me well and truly converted
