Guess what i fit into the back of my egg?

a 47" widescreen tube HDTV. yes tube. not flatscreen, not projection, TUBE!!! that sucker must have weighed at least 300 pounds if not more. didnt get pictures of it in my car, but ill try and post pictures of it alone later.

its busted, but sounds like an easy fix. the girl said she heard a "pop" and then it just stopped working. i have concluded its a power issue not a tube issue cuz when i plug it in, it doesnt make any sound/color/anything when i try and power it on. im thinking a fuse somewhere, busted capacitor, or the main transformer went. any thoughts?

oh and by the way, it was free!!!!

it never ceases to amaze me how much stuff will actually fit in our cars. I once loaded a round kitchen table, 4 chairs, and a large dry erase board. My father in law still can't figure out how I got it all in there, LOL.

If I recall correctly, somebody here actually crammed a full-sized arcade game in their car. I can't remember who it was, but the thread was called "who needs a truck?" LOL

Before the gas prices went way up several years ago, I used my pick-up truck for anything construction related.

Then I bought my Aspire and started using that to go to the store to get this stuff. Most of the stuff fits in the Aspire. I rarely use the truck anymore.

Anyway I call my Aspire "my new pick-up truck"!

lol if you cut the hatch part off it would look like a truck too!

it doesnt even suprise me in the least bit how much these lil cars can fit. they may look small but they are roomy as hell.

I would love to do a truck aspire! I don't know if I would have the heart to cut into spike like that though... maybe if I find a clean shell I'll give a truck conversion a go with the egg I have now.

I wonder if you couldn't have fit all 4 of those facing straight between the rear towers, then thrown a longblock in for good measure

I honestly thought about doing the truck thing with Scrappy, but I didn't have any place to park her out of the weather

How about a 4 gallon air compressor, large work box, shop vac, extension cords, air hose, a bunch of dyes and paint, milk crates and a lazer printer!

ummm where is the oxy sensor located at? im getting about 18 mpg and i think its time that it gets replaced... damn this sucks. my friend in his Mazda Protege B8 is getting better milage than me...
