Very nice Ben! What year is that? It's way kleener than my 97 for sure.
Have you ever thought about blacking out the door frames around the windows?
That would be real easy to do and would smooth out the look above the doors.
What are you planing on doing next?

I live in Caboolture QLD still at school so I have a very limited budget, looking at cheap & easy mods for my car at the moment. Think it looks heaps better than when I first got my car

Yea, now as you go along will get a lot of flak from people because of the model of the vehicle, but as everyone here has told me, If you're happy with it, If you're comfortable driving it, then screw everyone else.

It may be a festiva/Aspire, But these little cars have more potential then what people actually think. You can do all kinds of swaps, Engines, Trannys, Bod kits (custom, semi-custom, Complete rebuild) Wheels of all sizes, Lowering, Self-made engine parts, Crazy exhaust systems, Turbo systems, Supercharging, lambo doors even! I'm currently working on it.. Need help designing a cheap intake? Or even help in ordering parts at budget rate, lemme know. If its engine swaps or turbo systems. talk to nerd racing or iceracerdude. Festymick's the guy in the know about extreme makeovers and i'm pretty much everything else like neons, Tachos, doors, small engine mods and so on. I'm local. toowoomba. So if you're ever down my way lemme know.

Lookin forward to more pics mate! Rock on! fordaspire/icon_horns2.gif

Hey thanks mouse might have to try & catch up 1 day. Wasn't real keen on the car when dad first suggested it but with some wheels another exhaust & window tint I am really liking it. I only have my learners & I am still at school so budget is very small. Dad has said that the car is a great starting point into the car scene & I think I can see the potential. I guess I have all these ideas for more power but dad keeps saying keep it simple better to have a "sleeper than something that attracts the attention of the local boys & girls in blue". Anyway might look at some body mods soon would really like a new front bar & a rear wing

Welcome to the boards man! I get hassled about my car daily at work, but today some city hoodlums pulled up to my car while I was in advance auto, hopped out of their acura integra and stood by my car. I was thinking what are they doing... but when I came out they were all curious about my car and liked how I have it done up so far. one even offered to sell me some rims, I pointed to his car and said I'll take those ones wink.gif He said $600 and I said I'll pass.

It was pretty cool though that they were intrigued by the looks of my car. fordaspire/chili.gif

Thanks for the replies I was very hesitant when I first got my car was really looking for something more sportier but as dad explained you see a lot of these little cars around mainly being used as daily commuters plenty of potential to have something a little bit different. With a bit of imagination & trial & error. Couldn't really picture it myself at the time but with new wheels window tint & new exhaust I think I am hooked. Couple of my mates have Excels (but so does everyone else) nothing outstanding there. I guess deep down I want something to turn a few heads have fun with & learn as I go along. I have a limited budget I will be on the look out around the wreckers a lot for bits & pieces. I am pretty lucky that dad is fairly handy around cars having owned quiet a few but mainly had V8's as a young bloke wont really tell me what he got up too, he raced speedway for a while & has a interest in my little car now I have to drag him out of the drivers seat so I can have a drive,
Let the good times role
